    Welcome to the website of Irina Kupyrova, Russian artist based in Prague, Czech Republic.
    A graduate of College of Art and Design in Kiev and later of the Kiev State Academy of Fine arts, Irina lives and works in Prague, exhibiting in Czech Republic and participating in exhibitions and art shows internationally.
    Irina Kupyrova is a painter of female nudes and portraits offering painting in the styles of aesthetic impressionism and synthetism with emphasis on decorative line and the use of colour. Artist's elaborate palette allows her to use the colours to their maximum potential as she tries to weave colour, composition and theme into one harmonious whole.
    Irina aims to create intimacy and tranquility in her paintings, accompany her interest in colour and composition with a subtle ambience of leisurely flowing days and soft lines of female figure.
    The aim of this site is to introduce you to the whole range of styles and artistic interests of the painter, from earlier large-scale pieces with emphasis on pattern, to recent less refined, expressive works. New paintings are regularly added to the gallery section and we would much appreciate your feedback on the artwork and the site on the whole.
    Please feel free to contact us about any of the paintings on this site. Some of the paintings are exhibited in Prague galleries and most of them are available for sale. Alongside original works on canvas we offer signed prints of any of the paintings in the gallery section (see shop for information), which are an alternative to original canvases and you won't be dissapointed with colours and quality of the images.
